Great piece on NPR about BusinessWeek reporter Stacy Perman’s new book, In-N-Out Burger: A Behind-the-Counter Look at the Fast-Food Chain That Breaks all the Rules. I guess if I you don’t already know, I am a big fan. Cannot get better for a fast food burger. And I get a thrill each time I order from the Secret Menu!

McDonald’s bringing the heat in the cheaper, bigger burger race

In what might shape up to be some serious competition to the likes of Carl’s Jr. and others, McDonalds is about to launch a line of bigger, $4 Angus burgers.  Really I think this battle is just getting started.  Hard times means people want more for their money, and let’s face it, you don’t need a 15 dollar burger to make you happy (though I often partake nevertheless).

In my spare time (a.k.a. time spent not eating hamburgers, a.k.a. work) I spend a lot of time reading about space, and more specifically having enormous amounts of fun with space.  Thus I stumbled upon an incredible graphic designer who hosts a blog called Spacesick.  Lest you think it’s entirely space related, I present to you this work of genius:
